Grand Cayman's Annual Batabano parade took place on Saturday 3rd of May 2014. As everyone took to the streets i decided to take out the fs700 and capture the festival in slow motion as the subject seemed to suit it well. Batabano is always filled with movement and colour and this year i decided to exploit it! I will definitely be back next year, perhaps next time round I can capture the whole festival!
Shot on the sony FS700 at 240fps
Canon 16-35mm USMii 2.8 (stopped down to 2.0 thanks to Meta Bones Speed Booster)
Canon 70-200 USMii 2.8 (Also stopped down to 2.0)
I also had a GoPro 3+ attached to the top of the camera. The footage from that turned out great but it didn't feel right cutting to 60fps when the majority was in 240fps. I might re-visit the edit at a later date and add a faster paced cut :P
