Our project intends on showing these simple, seemingly unimportant events as something much larger as they take effect. We're messing around with how the ideas of time work with the gradation and usage of artistic utensils as a commentary on how time affects us artists. We personify ourselves as the tools we're destroying- ground up crayon, whittled down graphite pencil, crumpled up tube of paint. This will be done by the three of us individually seeking out our own locations and effectively documenting the locations changes throughout the day. Gathering anywhere from 20-60 photos of the locations from a set point and then loading them into a gif or presenting it as a nice photo set. The second part of this project is to show the grind of the situation by using artistry tools as they are ground away to nothing as they are used. These will also be turned into gifs and parallel these to the gifs featuring the days progression to further illustrate a better understanding of the concept.
