A series of videos and sculptures from site-specific performances that explore the darker side of generosity through acts of invasive gift-giving. I conspired with a community of others to gain access to a personal space of an unsuspecting recipient. Then constructed and left behind a sculpture as a secret gift. Ultimately, the works suggest an earnest, well-intentioned hopefulness for making emotional and meaningful connections with others through art as gift.
