The structure presented in this video is a disc packing steel prototype. All the pieces are fabricated through laser cutting and subsequently assembled through robotic positioning and welding. The experiment is a speculative exercise, aiming to demonstrate the logic of parametric programming. The trajectories are automatically calculated for each different disc. The design is a speculation regarding disk packing approximating a double curved surface.
