This is my first video on Vimeo. Hope it looks nice. There's no audio, just enjoy whatever ambient noise is going on around you.
It's a five second video. It was created by running a still image through a VVVV patch of my creation. The patch and render was created in 2 days.
The system analyzes the "energy gradient" in the image, pseudo-"liquefies" the light in the image and flows it along the gradient. All the quotations in that sentence should indicate that I can't really explain in English how it works. You have to watch it!
The image is of the Vercors mountains (Massif du Vercors). It was taken by myself outside of Grenoble, France 2010.
