Look through the end on either side and discover Nottingham as you have never seen it before.
SITECLOPS is a double kaleidoscope that has been created to encourage the public to playfully view and explore the urban space from new angles. Its magical distortion of the cityscape creates a sense of wonder; a chance to view our city from a distinctly different perspective. This interactive installation conceived by Dalma and Hristiyan creates magical imagery from the city’s architecture, drawing the viewer’s eye to consider the details of their historical surroundings. The piece has been built with the assistance of construction apprentices from New College Nottingham.
Both artists are in their final year at Nottingham Trent University studying graphic design.
Dalma is passionate about interactive and user-centred design. She enjoys working on projects that bring about positive change and puts an emphasis on ethical design.
Hristiyan is a multidisciplinary maker who takes inspiration from materials; experimentation and exploration are major parts of his design process and as such lie at the heart of his practice.
