Blind Walls Gallery - GDFB2014

Rare old murals still remind us about the heyday of the sign painting craft, but these days hand painted lettering has disappeared from the Dutch streets. Nowadays shop owners choose vinyl advertisments and standard type; turning Breda's Ginnekenstraat into an anonimous shopping street. During GDFB2014 hand painted murals based on the history and context of the place were created on the backside of these shops.

Walls by Letman, Mike Perry, Steve ESPO Powers, Jeff Canham and Rutger Termohlen, Collin van der Sluijs & Super A are here to stay.
