A selection of moving images archived at the Media Archive for Central England (MACE), the screen archive for the East and West Midlands, which illustrate everyday life in Britain from the 1920s to 1980s. From sewing, knitting, hanging the the washing out, school meals and fun at the playground, the cameras have captured wonderful 'everyday' moments which MACE are preserving for future generations to learn from and enjoy.
