Everybody knows Peter Brock for a different reason. To historic Corvette fans he's the guy who penned the lines of the original Sting Ray racer and by extension the production 1963 Corvette. To Cobra fans, meanwhile, Peter's the guy who took the brick-like Shelby Cobra roadster and turned it into the slippery Cobra Daytona Coupe. Datsun devotees love to remember the Peter Brock of Brock Racing Enterprises (BRE) during the late 60s and early 70s, coolly calling the shots as the infamous BRE Datsun team won the SCCA Trans-Am Championship in both '71 and '72.
For the Blackhawk Museums latest lecture, Peter Brock discusses his role in the conception of the iconic 1963 Corvette Sting Ray.
