Dima, thank you very much!
It was +20 in town, +17 in Banff, but the top of Divide was holding (somewhat)... Was soft, slushy, mushy and a bit lumpy and bumpy... but very good never the less. The lower half of the run (say below 2400) was absolutely not skiable though... no glide whatsoever... a lot of jerking back from this super soft snow... but as I said the top was fine.
may be a last run until November?
Hope not, but this time of the year you never know....
As for the video, you may wonder why this 360 rotation? Because I can!
Also notice how @4:12 it gets super crowded, I am surrounded by the punks.
The last run @5:16, the ski patroller started his final sweep and was patiently waiting until we finish our setup, :) thank you Sunshine patrollers!
On the serious note, my transition from this high speed, quazi racing, stupid carving attitude is done!
From the "only thing I can do" to the "do it only when necessary" mentality. Slow speed, control, side slide, drift, skid, snow roosters is the name of the game for me now (but yes high speed carving on the flats too... sometimes!)... lol... its all good...
