This project focuses on shading, lighting, rendering and compositing a photo-realistic automotive. I contributed to the following tasks:
− cleaned up the car model, added details and modeled additional automotive parts, such as steering wheel, light fixtures, wheels, brake calipers, etc
− unwrapped the museum and the car interior
− created shaders, 2D texture maps, and procedural maps
− set-up lighting using VRay light and VRay IES light
− rendered and composited final images
Some texture and bump maps were downloaded from cgtextures.com and digitaltutors.com. The car 'Bugatti Veyron' is a purchased model. It was modeled by Behr Bros. The environment 'Natural History Museum' is one of the lighting challenge scenes that was downloaded from 3dRender.com. It was modeled by Alvaro Luna Bautista and Joel Andersdon.
