My video diary of a short trip to the Northeast of the U.S. to visit relatives and for Mother's Day weekend. These are some of the many things I saw and captured.
Immediately after my finals, I escaped the strenuous university life with my mother to the Northeast of the U.S. for only 6 days. Most of my stay was in New York City because my mom and I both wanted to revisit it since we had not seen it in over 20 years.
The picture of the Northeast is gritty, aged, historic, industrial, powerful, diverse, and full of personality. A picturesque portrait of the dense American cityscape. Visiting New York City was a bit personal for me as much of my childhood surrounded around the film: Home Alone 2, Lost in New York. The film captured my amazement of the skyscraping-cityscape. Unfortunately, half of the trip became troubled with weather and some of my sightseeing was cancelled (such as the Empire State and Rockefeller's Top of the Rock).
I am looking forward to another, but longer stay to explore the Northeast--particularly during the Christmas/Winter season or late Fall.
