Contrary to what people say, dumbbell training can be beneficial even if you only do it at home. For maximum gain you should focus on the amount of repetition and technique first.
Get some ideas from my previous explanation:
In dumbbell step over for example you just have to relax your triceps and biceps and not give too much pressure on your abs muscle. Many other programs will not tell you to do so that you will never gain maximum result.
Even when you think you have more lean muscle it is actually you gain fat because of your poor dumbbell training and bad eating habit.
