On December 1, 2009 at 4:30PM, 80 Young Guerrilla Informer's (YGI's) and 20 supportive allies came together in the "booming" Dashanzi 798 Art District of Beijing.
They shrouded several outdoor sculptures with black fabric to mark the 20th anniversary of A Day Without Art.
The YGI's made their way to nine galleries in the district who agreed to close their doors as a symbolic gesture.
The YGI's were stationed at each of the participating galleries, handing out red ribbons and stickers in an effort to spread awareness of AIDS.
It is a challenge to change the world but the YGI's and ChART Contemporary made a dent!
