Interested in walking the labyrinth as a commitment toward peace — first, by working towards that inside yourself and then, by sharing an expression of it in community? Or how about making each walk your own -- by contributing creative ideas for involvement?
There's a great opportunity to be involved at many stages in the development of our solstice or community walks, held at the Marina temporary labyrinth, as you'll view here (and also at the Willard School) in Berkeley. Both locations, by the way, are easily accessible by bike, car or public transportation.
Many gather to experience what a labyrinth is like, to give themselves the gift of "time out", and to share thoughts about how to engage other individuals and groups in the Bay Area. Plans are underway to build a permanent 11th circuit labyrinth, and as members of the East Bay Labyrinth project, we invite you to look into our projects further.
So, check us out at eastbaycommunityproject.org. We're looking forward to walking with you!
