This isn't the first time I've been stood by my car on the dockside at Connah's Quay, photographing the sun as it sets behind the gas fired power station just a little bit down river.
But some spectacles are just too good to visit only once, and as with all outdoor photography, the same place never looks the same twice.
So there I was in my default position, camera firmly bolted to tripod, and clicking away every three seconds with the help of my remote timer as the sky turned from white to yellow to orange.
I'll never get tired of the magic of dawn and dusk in evocative places, and such beauty can be found in the most unlikely of locations, even a power station.
