Lakeshore was built in the 1960s as a factory and office space for Imperial Tobacco. It lay derelict for many years until this stylish refurbishment into apartments took place. Urban Splash were the regeneration company who commissioned the architects Ferguson Mann to undertake the re-design. The original steel frame of the building is of Cor-Ten construction and intentionally designed to rust.
