I had 30 minutes over off my lunch break to go down to Rålambshovsparken in Stockholm to try out the Panasonic GH4. This was the first time I snapped on a lens and got to shoot with it. I will have to test it out a lot more to see what settings I prefer, but I really love the camera so far. This was shot in Cinelike D, with sharpness, contrast, saturation and NR turned down, increased shadows and lowered highlights.
Also did some heavy grading to see how the footage would hold up when treated.
I used a Canon EF 70-200/4,0 L USM with a passive focal reducer in 50hz 100mb/s mode with VFR set to 96 fps.
My initial perception is that the camera performs well over my expectations. In the right hands, and with the magic of a Speedbooster/focal reducer this camera really blows the 5D out of the water!
