It's the 100th anniversary of the WW1 battle at Gallipoli, when the Anzac spirit was forged between Kiwi and Aussie soldiers. And it'll be the last chance to ride a 100th anniversary Anzac Singlespeed Champs till 2115.
There'll be a ride to the dawn service in Anzac Day, April 25. Gather at the Pig and Whistle at 5.30AM.
Race day is Sunday April 26 - Race start will be at Waipa MTB Car Park and the course will be on the trails in the magnificent Whakarewarewa Forest Briefing at 9.45AM, Race start 10.00-ish.
Monday is a public holiday - time for a Big Kiwi Brekkie back at the Pig - race recovery and hangover cure.
