The work investigates the cognitive processes that lead to the information overload.
Telesma is a constant nonlinear act.
It's the need to rise and to fall to the zero point.
It represents a Big Crunch and at the same time a Big Bang.
The work is an installation created on the occasion of the exhibition Palazzo conTEMPORANEO "2043 Qui" (Udine, 2013).
The installation consists in a closed, dark, tall and narrow room.
In the room there are six monitors, one in front and five parallel to the floor. Their position is calculated based on the Golden ratio.
On the ground are arranged piles of flour.
Not only the arrangement of the monitor follows the Golden rule but also the proportion of video and music (Bartók - Music for Strings, Percussion and Celesta - played in reverse).
The Golden ratio is a constant essential that accompanies the act of rebooting.
