Vancouver, British Columbia Canada. An overcast day, the most common type of day around here, so this humble poor man's video is at least honest, not trying to make a buck. Early in the tourist season. Vancouver covets the Cruise Ships arriving regularly. Annually, over a million cruise ship passengers pass through isolated Vancouver BC in modern times, mostly USA people traveling to Alaska on the same ships that cruise the Caribbean and other points south, the other half of the year. We won't house the homeless or supply the working poor decent affordable housing in Vancouver Canada, but we do open our doors wide to big spenders from the US heartland and other parts of the World every summer. Not sure if that is really fair or equitable. Seems to me that if housing was built on these shores for our common people that could be better for the economy all year round, but got to have our fantasies of being an important tourist trap, with expensive stores, hotels, restaurants and bars for visitors, I guess. "Important" is important to us here in this isolated over grown seaport/ village, with our catering to the B grade Hollywood movie business and the cruise ships, who cares about the ordinary Canadians and not so rich, other potential visitors from around the World?
