Both renders are from the same fumefx simulation, a sphere is emitting particle in Pflow avoiding the voxel effect. Particles are then saved and loaded to prt loader where I add a simple twist modifier from the 3ds max modifier. the only change in the second rendering is the axis of the twist modifier.
The compositing is done with after effect with a vertical glow and then an horizontal less stronger glow, with a picture of the milky way in the background.
