In the summer of 2013 I asked our DP if he wanted to take a road trip down the coast. "Why don't we bike it?" He said. After I stopped laughing I saw that he was serious.
A month later we had secured sponsorship from Cateye, an amazing bike company that makes lights, computers, and GPS devices, and away we went!
All of this was shot along the way with our Canon 5D Mark III
