Media attention from across the UK is shifting focus to a steep hill in the rural English county of Gloucestershire for the annual cheese rolling competition.
Thousands of people gathered for the event as real cheese returned to the race after being replaced by an imitation last year. The event attracts thrill-seekers who chase a wheel of double Gloucester cheese down a steep slope in three separate races. Each race has a winner and separate prize cheese. Dozens of people ran, jumped and tumbled downhill in order to catch up with the cheese wheel.
