40,000 still photos were used in the making of this video, created by Pixel Idiots. Two time-lapse photographers using two cameras each shot the photographs during three live shows. The initial image manipulation consisted of time-stretching the sequences to create some interesting painterly like artifacts. Batches of 600 still frames were then handpicked and reshuffled many times at random to create new sequences which were time stretched again. The process was repeated until approximately 30 minutes of distorted and fractally morphed 4K footage was made. The whole morphing process took three months, five external hard-disks (one died) and over 1,000 hours of rendering time in After Effects 5.5. The video edit took another 3 months.
