Dr. Grady is a board-certified pediatrician with a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in primary care sports medicine. He is very active nationally in sports medicine education and policy, with specific expertise and interest in pediatric concussion and overuse injuries. He serves on The American Medical Society for Sports Medicine educational committee, and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Council on Sports Medicine and Fitness, and served as AAP representative on the development of the National Physical Activity Plan. Locally, he serves as the concussion consultant for several area high schools and has teamed with county and state officials to develop “return to school” guidelines for students following concussion injuries.
