Just before I began my courses in Digital Design at Vancouver Film School in January of 2010 it was announced that the top news story of 2009 was the H1N1 scare.
As a stand-up comedian I wondered how long it would be before a non-health related business tried to exploit the scare to generate new profits.
I wrote the song before Christmas and began production of the audio track for my "commercial" in January. At the same time I was working out the storyboards in one of my other classes. Shooting and editing were done over a few weeks in February.
