Honoring My Father is the story behind Keith Kadoyama attending the Lantern Floating Ceremony every year. The Lantern Floating Ceremony honors our loved ones who have passed away. Keith honors his father Mitsuo Kadoyama, and he tells his story. I give a lot of thanks to Keith for doing this mini documentary.
This is the Behind the Scenes of the interview, and the setup using the Rode Shotgun Mic. I did this all by myself, and it was shot in a day. Edit took a lot longer, but it was worth it. I'm glad Keith agreed to do this even though I asked him 2 days before the event.
Shot on a Panasonic GH3 and GH4, 4K with 12-35mm X lens and SLR Magic Anamorphot.
