At just 23 years old David Gonzalez has fit a lot into his life. He was first spotted at 13 on a video clip skating his home streets of Medellin, Columbia. His first visit to a real skate park came soon after at the Tampa Am, and by 16 he competed in the X-Games, all before turning pro. David moved to the US full time in 2008 and has become bi-lingual, learned how to shred the guitar, won Thrasher Magazine’s Skateboarder of the year award nailed 120 pages of Editorial, 126 full page ads, and 6 covers. Next stop is his mission to tear up Street League as well as produce top quality video content. This new found success isn’t just for David though, he hopes to honor his roots and inspire kids like himself from around the world.
