Betty Jean Robinson highlights the joys and challenges of cooking for Wagons Ho in the 1960's. A pioneer adventure for tourist, Wagons Ho was run for years by the Hefner family of Quinter, Kansas. Producer Audrey Robinson Favorito introduces the video and reflects about how times have changed since her childhood. Crew members wearing Native American costumes are part of Wagon's Ho history, an age before political correctness and increased awareness of the price the first people of the land paid for westward expansion. Favorito says she believes both sides of the story would be told around the campfire, if Wagons Ho happened today.
