The El Reno Indian Health Center re-opened its doors in its new location on May 30, 2014. The center was damaged heavily in the tornado that swept through the El Reno community just a year before. The Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes worked closely with Indian Health Service to get the health center opened as soon as possible in order to provide medical services for Native Americans in the community.
