These two have the most interesting story on probably all of the weddings we have filmed. I love getting to know each couple and hearing each of their stories. At first, I thought they were joking around with me, but it looks like I was wrong.
These two met while walking to the starting line at a marathon race here in Cincinnati - I thought that kind of stuff only happened in romantic comedies...the film tells the story...
Tech specs for my fellow geeks, and for those who want to learn.
I arrived at bride prep, with 1 camera, and 2 lenses. 50 prime and 70-200
All shots were done on the monopod (king of weddings).
Groom prep was filmed all with our 50. We mic'd the bride and groom for the letters, which is recorded on a separate card and synced up later in post. 3 camera's were used for ceremony and reception, we put a 24 1.4 on the 3rd camera for cutaways and reaction shots (grandma shot was epic). all dancing was shot at 2.0 ISO around 2k.
The cool vendor people we worked with.
