The thin border between legal and illegal walls in Lisbon painted by those who bomb/paint both kind of walls. The thin border refers to the respectively destructible or artistic activities of the painter Parks as well as the wall that is considered legal nor illegal by authorities; the wall of fame in Amoreiras (Lisbon).
With this visual representation I aim to tease the audience about paintings in the streets/walls. Whether these are simple tags, figures, lines and dots or more colourful designs of figures, lines and dots. I aim to sensitize people about what those walls express and who is behind utilizing those walls as an urban canvas to spread messages, arts, name… . It is not so much a question of art versus vandalism, but moreover an insight in the similarities and differences between the act of bombing (refers to illegal painting on walls) and the act of painting (refers to legal painting on walls).
