In Exodus chapter thirty-three, God tells Moses regarding the Hebrews or as He sometime refers to them as, "the people which thou hast brought up out of the land of Egypt " that He would kept the promise He made to their forefathers. He would in fact, send an angle to clear the land of its inhabitants. However, God also said, "I will not go up in the midst of thee; for thou art a stiff-necked people: lest I consume thee in the way".
Before this conversation (between God and Moses) was over Moses ask God to "Let me see your Glory" There is much to be gleaned about God from Moses. Moses is the only man that the bible said , "the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend".
