The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants launched an initiative to celebrate and honor the successes of notorious Lebanese emigrants in various sectors, from May 30 till June 1, at Hilton Beirut Grand Habtoor Hotel.
This acclaimed event was attended by H. E. the Minister Gerbran Bassil, as well as personalities and speakers of Lebanese origins from around the world, noting that it was highly covered by the media, since it is the first of its kind in Lebanon.
The first day included the opening session, followed by several sessions including success stories and testimonials of Lebanese residents and expatriates, and was concluded with an official gala dinner held by the Ministry.
The second day consisted of closed-session workshops given by eminent Lebanese residents and expatriates, and was concluded with a tribute to the attending Lebanese emigrants, the awarding of prizes to Lebanon Connect contest winners, the distribution of certificates, the Lebanese lobby, and recommendations.
The third day witnessed the inauguration of the anticipated "Lebanese Diaspora Forest" in Chatine and "Lebanese Diaspora House" in Batroun, and was concluded with a lunch hosted by H.E. Minister Bassil at Al Batrouni restaurant, in Batroun.
