Dr. Diaz’s presentation will address social and
behavioral factors that influence the health of
adolescents, as well as some new or overlooked areas
of research. Examples will include the maltreatment
of children, the emerging public health problem of sex
trafficking of minors in the US and groundbreaking
research currently being conducted at the Mount Sinai
Adolescent Health Center on Human Papilloma Virus
(HPV) in adolescent girls. Please join us for what will
