Not really sure what to say here: I'm just a noob working in Thailand who is trying to shoot better video.
That being said, WORKFLOW: A hodgepodge of random YouTube and Vimeo searches, hours on the ML RAW forums, and me finally getting a computer that could handle the post.
I really wanted something simpler than this, but here is the workflow I did this edit with:
Resolve is a really nice platform! And 10 is so powerful, I'm really confused about how they give it out for free!
Anyone have any ideas about the 'edit' step of Resolve 10? I was able to finally figure out the 'round-trip' process enough to use both Premiere CS6 and Resolve 10 to create the final product. But I'm still not sure if this is the one I will use in the future. For the lame people like me, we don't have the time or the space to complete all the post work required to make the edit:
Create Proxies in Resolve-->
Make edit in Premiere-->
Round trip back to Resolve to 'Color' (I really don't know what all the buttons do) BMD then Hunter's LUT thingy-->
Sent back to Premiere to title and export.
