Documentation of an audio/video installation from May of 2014. In this work, Jason Zeh explores the qualities of common insulation foam using the foam as source material for both audio and video elements. Audio source material has been transformed by recording sounds of the foam and playing and recording that sound back through the same foam. Similarly, raw video of the foam's surface has been projected and re-projected back onto itself. In the installation, the sheets of insulation foam function as projection surfaces and as flat panel speakers for 4 channels of video projection and sound.
