Cameron is in his twenties and has just accepted the post of Head Gamekeeper at a large estate in the North of Scotland owned by a laird who rarely visits. With the nearest city an hour drive away and only a local pub and his dog for company Cameron experiences intense isolation and begins to create his own world in little estate larder. That is until the arrival of a bureaucratic PHD student from the city.
As our society slowly creeps further and further away from the natural world, The Gamekeeper will make us rethink what the countryside really means to us.
