Here's a video glimpse of Stephen Duneier's recent Lizard's Mouth yarn bomb spanning two separate weekends after a permit kerfuffle: the first on May 23, then two weeks later for his second, fully-permitted installation the weekend of June 6 for National Trails Day. Seventeen boulders were blanketed with contributions from crocheters and knitters across 36 countries and all 50 states. Although now no trace remains, it was a vibrant tribute to Santa Barbara's outdoors that many were able to experience firsthand or through social media that connected fans and contributors around the world.
