For You, I Dance is a film set in a picturesque Singapore in the 60s and 70s era portraying the struggles of two individuals silently in love. A dancer (Mrs Miao) from the high society falls in love with a delivery boy who sends food to her house. Noticing his passion for dance, she offers to guide him through the art. Overtime, they find themselves unable to avoid the silent growing affection for each other. However, things are not as easy as it seems. People start gossiping about their relationship and the social stigma threatens to put an end to the silent passion. Mrs Miao, herself, has a past that she cannot eradicate. At the very end, she is forced to make a choice between this love, and reality.
