Yarn bombing has become a worldwide phenomenon that appeals to both a local and global community.
The Holbrook Yellow Submarine yarn bombing took place in Holbrook on Thursday 12 June 2014, becoming the country’s largest yarn bombing project to date.
The event celebrated The Centenary of Australian Submarines 1914-2014, International Yarn Bombing Day (7 June), the Holbrook Sheep & Wool Fair (11 – 13 June) and 50 years since the BEATLES landed in Australia.
It was a great event for all involved. Many long hours went into the creation of this project.
