Shake Shack is turning 10 and having a weeklong celebration in Manhattan's Madison Square Park with celebrity chefs April Bloomfield, Daniel Boulud, Dave Chang, Daniel Humm, and Andrew Zimmern. The chefs will create their own version of the Shake Shack burger and only 1000 will be available per day. I visited the park on Monday to find out more and continued to document as the week progressed.

Shake Shack sprouted from a hot dog cart in Madison Square Park in Manhattan created by Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group (USHG) to support the Madison Square Park Conservancy’s first art installation. The cart was quite the success, with Shack Fans lined up daily for three summers.
