Camera : Panasonic GH4
Lens : SLR Magic 35 t/1.4
LUT : Impulz LUT (kodak Vision3 50D 5203) // Visioncolor Osiris m31 LUT
Cinema 4K 4096 x 2160

Still experimenting with the Pansonic GH4 as I also try to incorporate the Impulz LUTS into my workflow. The Panasonic GH4 has SO many features but I have not yet come up with a proper workflow for downscaling 4K footage. Somewhere in the process of downscaling to 2k I am actually throwing away pixels. It looks much better to just export it to its original resolution of 4k. Until I find a way to properly downscale footage in 4k I will use the ALL-I 1080p codec. That bit rate is HUGE ! and all-i looks better with motion especially the camera shake that comes with shooting handheld. I need more time with the camera to fully unlock its potential and also the potential of the LUTS.
I've tried adding a fast color correct filter at the end to change the output levels to 16-235 from 0-255. This should help in the future make use of the wasted luminance values when raising the master pedestal to 15. It also gives it a nice "filmic" finish with lifted blacks and and whites that don't look blown out. I will continue experimenting.
