Countryside High played host to Pinellas County Schools’ first ESE Summer Institute with more than 750 teachers and administrators participating.
The three-day institute included keynote speaker Dr. Edwin Lou Javius, a lauded educator who has a reputation for inspiring educators to tackle the difficult issue of educational equity. Attorney J. Weatherly of Alabama, owner of Resolutions in Special Education, was also a guest speaker. Weatherly has provided legal representation and consultative services to school districts in the area of educating students with disabilities.
