Water In-Depth: Supply and Demand
On March 26-27, 2013, ASU's Global Institute of Sustainability and the Decision Center for a Desert City hosted a Water Forum, co-sponsored by Intel and CH2M HILL. The goals were to encourage innovation in reusing and recycling water for municipalities and industry.
Here, Carly Jerla from the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation discusses the results of a comprehensive three-year study on the future availability of Colorado River Basin water and the 40 million people it serves. Their conclusion: water reuse will be key to meeting the ever-growing demand.
