This theatre piece travels between Paris, Nottingham and Sarajevo, ravelling and unravelling stories of Archduke’s assassination, Olympic triumph of UK’s Torvill and Dean skating to Bolero, recent Bosnian war and the present. Bolero collaboration brings together artists from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Germany and the UK.
Bolero is a unique performance because it provides creative space and an opportunity for each individual artist to contribute to the development of this devised piece. Being part documentary, part experimental, it required several phases of research and development carried out throughout 2013, this piece continues to substantially contribute to international networking and collaboration.
