Dreams of Kelp revival. Scuba diving in California underwater kelp forests. Back and back and back underwater in my very own backyard in California Channel Islands. Enjoy the bliss of kelp and eel grass and blue water with Garibaldi's and other wonderful sea life. Channel Islands National Park is a United States national park that consists of five of the eight Channel Islands off the coast of the U.S. state of California, in the Pacific Ocean. Although the islands are close to the shore of densely populated Southern California, their isolation has left them relatively undeveloped. We dove San Clemente and Santa Catalina islands and visited dive sites such as Neptunes wall, Fish hook, Cliffs of insanity, Mystic mountain, Little pyramid arch, The wall, Nudibranch city, Little scorpion, Scorpion rock and middle reef. A great reminder why California diving is one of the best and most beautiful scuba diving in the word! Caveat emptor -- your mileage may vary as far as conditions go.

This was a three day trip to southern Channel islands on board Vision of Truth Aquatics organized by Adventure sports unlimited and Worldwide Diving Adventures from Santa Cruz, CA.

Shot entirely with GoPRO Hero HD3 black and color corrected and edited in Adobe Premiere Pro CS6.
