Peace activists gathered on the Peace Bridge linking St. Paul and Minneapolis for the weekly peace vigil to deliver clear messages to Obama, "Stay out of Iraq, and the rest of the Middle East!" The sending of guards to the Baghdad Embassy and sending military "advisers" to Iraq triggered a passionate response. FBI whistleblower and noted peace spokesperson Coleen Rowley observed, "I think that the people that are war weary are also probably weary of demonstrating against war, but there's not much other option."
They also pleaded for ignoring and stop reporting the neocons and assorted war criminals that dragged us into the one trillion dollar useless war. The perpetrators are now on TV urging more war. It's reported that 90% of the one trillion returned to the U.S. "Defense" industry.
The vigil drew a wide age range, a shift from the normal aging peace people who go to the streets.
