Fourth grade students from Roanoke Avenue and Phillips Avenue Elementary Schools in Riverhead participate in the Peacemakers, an anti-bullying club. The group was founded in 2012 by Morgan Dunn, who was then a third grade student at Roanoke Ave. School. The Peacemakers act as role models for the other students and raise awareness by engaging in school-wide bullying prevention and kindness initiatives. Shannon Kutner, CAP social worker, facilitates the groups and initiatives.
